MyWirasat Calculator

Disclaimer

This is an educational tool

The calculator applies the classical rules of Faraid to the heirs you enter and shows the result. That is all it does. It does not know your family's circumstances, the contents of the estate, any agreement between the heirs, or the law where you live.

It is not a fatwa

Nothing here is a religious ruling. Before dividing a real estate, take the result to a qualified Mufti and have it confirmed. Where the calculator itself flags an open question — and it does, in plain language on the result — that confirmation matters more, not less.

It is not legal advice

In Pakistan, Islamic shares are the default legal position. In the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Australia and much of Europe they are not: without a valid will, local intestacy law decides who inherits, and the result can be very different. In France, forced heirship rules may make some Islamic distributions unenforceable regardless of what a will says. Calculating your shares is a first step; making them binding is a separate one that needs a lawyer in your own jurisdiction.

The rules have not yet been reviewed by a scholar

The rules were compiled from the classical manuals and are tested against a suite of sourced worked cases, but no qualified scholar has yet signed them off. Until that review is complete and published, every result here is a draft. See the Methodology page for exactly which questions are still open.
